Although the Covid lockdown was initially devastating to the live events industry, the advancements in virtual technology that were forced to the fore as a result now mean that as we emerge the other side, events can now be that much more flexible.
A case in point, our latest challenge:
A live event in London, with one live conference interpreter in a booth on site at the event, along with live speakers and delegation. The other simultaneous interpreter, some of the speakers and more of the delegation attending virtually from locations around China.
Not a problem! How times have changed…
